Backup Solutions

It is advisable to backup your data at least once a month to prevent losing it in the event of hardware failure, accidental deletion or corruption from viruses.

We recommend using either a blank CD or DVD depending on the amount of data you wish to backup. If you require a large amount of storage for your data you can also use an external hard drive although these can also be effected by hardware failure e.t.c.

There are many free pieces of software available that can be used to perform an automated backup on the days and times you want.

It is also advisable that once you complete a backup you check that the files have been successfully copied to the backup location.
